The main differences between a hard and soft Edmonton loft is that a hard loft has rougher finishing, with a more open interior, exposed brick and ductwork, and are old spaces repurposed for a new use. Soft lofts, on the other hand, are new buildings, often with cathedral ceilings and high windows. They often have bedrooms separate from the main living space, but are usually still quite open overall. While a hard loft often has a more industrial feel to it, soft lofts are usually more energy efficient because they’re newer construction.
