North Central Edmonton Property Listings 

Edmonton's North Central zone hosts a bouquet of interesting sights, events, tastes and sounds that make life here extremely exciting. Occupying a large space along the north side of the North Saskatchewan River, this area is packed with housing that exhibits far-ranging styles, pricing and amenities. 

The Geographic Area

The North Central part of the city stretches from the river to its northern bounds at the municipal airport and Yellowhead Trail. Whereas its easternmost boundary coincides with Wayne Gretzky Drive NW, the western edge aligns with a few different roads and a healthy commercial corridor that makes this a great place for people who don't want to go without the essentials at any moment.

Although this region includes the downtown core of the city, it's not all looming skyscrapers or barren parking lots. A significant portion of these neighbourhoods is composed of residential streets and green spaces. True, it's not nearly as forested as some other parts of the city, but North Central Edmonton manages to strike a nice balance between being totally urban and respecting nature. Notably, the area's southernmost districts possess ample amounts of green real estate in the form of riverside parks, golf courses, conservation areas and other perks that one might be surprised to find just a stone's throw away from the metropolitan centre.

Noteworthy Subdivisions

North Central Edmonton is composed of a number of boroughs. These include Delton, Alberta Avenue, Eastwood, Prince Rupert, Elmwood Park, Westmount, Westwood, Parkdale, Queen Mary Park and Spruce Avenue. 

The transitions between these regions aren't always too striking thanks to the city's generally harmonious planning policies. Still, each individual borough has its own distinctive culture and sense of community pride.
