UBER has transformed how many Edmontonians get around the city. No matter your position on the controversial personal taxi company, the convenience of the service is indisputable. We wanted to see how UBER has transformed one of the least loved commutes in Edmonton: the long trek to the Edmontion International Airport.


If you're a frequent traveller, trips to the airport can eat up a lot of time and cash. Next time you're looking for a new home, use this handy graphic to learn the easiest and cheapest Edmonton neighbourhoods from which to UBER to the airport. We used a free tool, uberestimate.com, to determine our estimated times and prices. Many factors go into your transit time and price: proximity to the Anthony Henday Ring Road, how north you are, if you need a large UBER (called UBERXL), and if you are leaving during a high traffic period.
